The facility

A place built around the horse.

Equitas sits on open land in Siler City, North Carolina—quiet, room to breathe, and everything a horse needs to be a horse. The layout is simple on purpose: covered and outdoor arenas for the work, pastures and paddocks for turnout, and a barn that puts rest and care first.

Nothing here is fancy for the sake of it. Every part of the facility exists to keep horses sound, settled, and able to do their job—so the training and the riding can be about something more than the next show.

The covered arena

Training through any weather.

The covered arena means the work doesn't stop for the season. Rain, summer heat, or a cold winter morning—there is always a bright, consistent place to school, to teach a lesson, and to prepare for the ring. Good footing, good light, and room to breathe.

The barn

Rest is part of the work.

A barn should help a horse recover, not just house one. Spacious, well-ventilated stalls and a quiet central aisle let every horse come down from their work and rest. The culture here is calm and consistent—no drama, no rush, just a place that feels like home to the horses who live in it.

Turnout & land

Room to be a horse.

Horses here get time out—on grass, in good company, matched to what each one needs. The paddocks and pastures are fenced and maintained so turnout is safe and easy, day in and day out. It is the simplest thing, and it is what keeps horses sound and settled between the days they work.
